Every weekend that is a little bit special, add bonus exp.
When eastern come, add double kill points rewards from slayer. And give a free eastern hat, or what it now is called.
Christmass: make a event that hands out free gnome scarfs or something.
Add some events, mini quests if posible.

Sebbe this is a good idea but think of the coding needed to successfully add these features into the server. It's bound not to be easy.
Those items that Stonecold suggested would be perfect for a Christmas Event. Items such as Easter Rings but only a certain number of them could also be given out as a rare event item, for example maximum of 3 Easter Rings.

i think each player shud randomly get a bobble hat OR scarf (one per ip if thats possible) and then ppl will trade/sell them depending on whatever color they happen to get
the easter ring idea is ok, but it leaves 95% of the server out.
