This is just a quick guide on how to tell if someone is scamming or not.
Recentely i have noticed the amount of scammers go up and this is suprising but what's even more suprising is the amount of people getting scammed, We do not have many members now. but it can help you and me. and for the new members, We will have many players when v3.1 is launched. and everbody vote every 24 hours! to the highscores. it take 5 sec of yourl ife to typ ::vote!
You should always take caution when trading in large amounts, especially if your appearence looks like you have alot of money, your the biggest target.
Pick up these few tips and you will never be scammed.
1. never spam the accept button during trading, always check the second trade screen carefully no matter how good or cheap the deal is. If it is too good to be true, then it probably isen't.
2. If someone asks you to follow them to the wildy to meet there friends to trade never believe it about 99% of the time they are trying to lure you.
3. Check that the item your buying is really what you think it is. If your buying dragon bones ect always check, that they are the correct bones not a different type.
4. If someone is giving away free stuffor hosting a drop praty, first of all it is impossible to drop something and for it to appear because it automaticly dissapears anyway, secondly if someone is giving you free stuff; do not follow them to somewhere else wildy or mage bank because you are guaranteed to get lured.
If they are giving you free stuff tell them to give it to you there and then.
do not accept duplication items tell it to chris/dan/kay/sebbe!!
5. never, ever interact with someone runescape accounts or rsgp (runescape money), 1st of all it is against the rules of rune-x-scape and secondly you have no guarantee you will get what your asking for. Also who's going to help you after you've got scammed, a moderator/admin??
6. never believe someone who sais they are doubeling money or rounding money, it is impossible to double money unless they are freely giving it to you them selves Which is very unlikely. There is 100% chance that they will run away after the 2nd or 3rd trade, just because they doubled your 50k does not mean they can double your 5m.
7. Over-pricing and under-pricing is probably one of the top ones. If you are new to the game and you do not know the price of something dont just go in there and buy it. ask someone, but not someone who might be selling that item because there is a chance they might scam you to.

9. Someone can easily lie about the rarity of an item claiming that it is rare when really it is very common, usually something out of shop. If you are unsure about an item, search it up or ask a friend/mod/admin.
10. This one is just common sense but. Always make sure you set a complicated passwords, not your name or your friends name, something that is very hard to guess. In private servers people attempt to guess passwords alot more frequently.
